Digital 360 is a NEW three day custom workshop designed to introduce photographers to all the new, wonderful, and very useful functions that Digital Cameras offer. Many new owners are simply not aware of these new functions and how they can have a positive effect on their Digital Photography. This workshop includes a full day of "hands-on" training with their camera followed by a full day of learning how to use Adobe Photoshop as an extension to their camera.

Saturday........ Digital Photography made easy

 

 

Saturday Morning 9:00 am

Lessons 1, 2, 4, and 8 before lunch. You will learn how to set your camera up for "High Performance." Here you are introduced to Aperture, Shutter, Manual Modes as well as learning all about White Balance and what ISO settings you will need for the day of shooting in historic downtown Richlands.

11:45: Lunch

Friday afternoon: 1pm After lunch we travel to streets and by ways of downtown Richlands (founded in 1888). We will also visit the beautiful gardens that surround the Beruit Memorial then off to the hisitoric waterfront town of Swansboro for dinner where we will end our day enjoying the challenge of a Night Shoot. Bring your Tri-Pod for this adventure!

 
Sunday.....Adobe Photoshop-CS3 or Elements 5 (your choice)!

8 am. The class room opens early so that students who want to can come early for some one on one time where you can ask any questions about your camera or problems that you may be having..

9 am. Now we enter the Digital Darkroom. In the classroom we will powerup your laptops and learn how to efficiently download, catalog and organize your photos. Then we launch into the basics of editing your images with Adobe Photoshop. You will learn about Layering, Masks, Leveling, Actions, and how to construct montages of your images.

12 pm Lunch. Once again we move downtown to capture colors and texture of the historical district here in Richlands where we will stop for lunch during our Downtown Stroll. Downtown here is only four blocks so do not worry about blisters but bring a couple of Compact Flash cards because you will need them.

2-6pm. We get back in the classroom for more tips, techniques and practice on those features of Adobe Photoshop that are most important to Digital Photographers.

Monday.....Now you go to work!

8 am. The class room opens early so that students who want to may have an early start to prepare a presentation of their "Six Best" from their Carolina Portfolio! .

9 am. Intro to Imaging Presentations. You will learn how you can add real WOW to your presentations. After this there will be no more click and talk slide shows for your images!

10 am. Students finalize their Portfolios for presentations.

11 a.m Presentations of your Portfolio and class critique.

12pm Workshop ends.
