Chandler Studios aims to provide everyone with affordable but highly personal art of their lives and our imaginations. We take the time with each customer to personalize and focus our efforts on what they want to satisfy their artistic desires within our skills. This team effort allows Teresa and John the time to make their Art and Photography "A Part of Your Life!" Chandler Studios was born from the imaginations of Teresa and John on the island of Okinawa, Japan in 1996 while they were enjoying life abroad. At that time Teresa was painting both for love and commissions using both oils and pastels while John was successfully building a career in teaching both land and underwater photography. Both artists were very popular with the Japanese/American markets of southern Japan showing in many galleries and private shows for more than six years. During this time John published three photography related books and was credited with photography contributions to the production of two Discovery and History Channel specials before the Digital Revolution in imaging and photography began for them in 2002. The Digital Revolution encouraged them to leave their island life returning John and Teresa to their antique home in historic Richlands, North Carolina where they focused their efforts establishing a Portrait Studio. In February of 2003, after almost a year of hard work, Chandler Studios rose up from what had been a two story tobacco packhouse. With the completion of this renovation, they now capture Family Portraits in a rustic setting in an artistic manner. Come see their work housed in their country gallery-like setting that is warm, comfortable and professionally appointed to meet your photographic demands. These days John and Teresa are pleased to invite Brides, Families, High School Seniors, and Expectant Mothers into their Studio so they can record "Images of your Lifetime." John and Teresa welcome you to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that focuses their efforts on your portrait requirements.
